Ancient Bactrian Agate & Quartz Strand trade bead lamp-wound in the early 1800'sBeautiful and rare old agate and quartz beads from the ancient central Asian country of Bactria, now northern Afghanistan. These are quite old, best guess 1000 1200 years old, highly collectible with subtle colors. Center carnelian agate bead is 14mm diameter x 17mm long. Spaced with ancient quartz beads which were excavated in Mali, West Africa. 7 beads on this short strand. Truly one of a kind!
